Two hours on horseback, most of it on the firm sand the tide has just left behind. The horses at the centre are used to beginners and long since used to the noise of the Atlantic, so if you have never been on one you will spend the first stretch at a walk with a guide beside you and that is perfectly normal. There are two departures. The later one puts you on the beach while the sun goes down over the water, which is why most people ask for it. Both include the drive out and the drive back.
